We stayed in a family room for 4 of us and the big bed was surprisingly comfortable for me. The private bathroom was OK with a nice shower and heated mirror with good lighting to do my make up. It was clean and a cleaner came every day to make beds and give clean towels. Small but space used well. Not 1 English channel on TV but that's expected so if you have children perhaps get some downloads on Netflix before you come. Staff very friendly and helpful. Basic IBIS so don't expect much but its a good base to stay for a good price. Centre of Paris is a long walk following the canal but the walk is nice - follow signs for La Villette to walk the right way to Paris centre. Also Eau Canal restaurant across the road is very nice and has an English menu if you ask for it they are very welcoming. I notice some people left reviews saying its a bad area - but I would say there's definitely worse areas in England and we felt safe staying there with our children many people smiling at my 2 year old. My tip of the day is from Gare du Nord go down stairs to Metro 5 and get off at Hoche (dont get off at Porte de Pantin its further away) from Hoche You're 5 minutes away from the hotel.

The friendly staff...the lady who made our check-in was fabulous. After finishing the paperwork she took the time to explain to us the best way to get to central Paris and gave us an App that I'm gonna keep forever on my cellphone because it shows all the transportation and schedules, distance, prices of tickets, etc. She also was so sweet with my girl!!! The hotel is an awesome place to stay if you are on a budget and has an excellent connection to Paris. The RER is 150mt from the hotel and the metro 600mt. The neighborhood is quiet with a lot of little bistros and coffee shops, bakeries to die for, and even a McDonald's for a late meal ( closes at midnight). Definitely staying again on my next trip in July. Thanks to the stuff.

Breakfast was good and well run. Loved the fresh fruit salad! Room was spacious and clean. Staff wasn't very interactive (which I prefer). Hotel lobby has a coffee machine, however the card reader was broken. With coins you can get a coffee (which won't be the best but it gets the job done). The rooms had a keypad with a code, which was convenient and worked well. Elevator in the building was convenient. Pantin is lovely and found some cool vegan spots in the area. Seemed to be a lively place and if you're interested in local culture it's a good area to explore. It was easy to get to Paris centre from the hotel using either RER or the metro.

Our room was ok size for two adults and a child (she slept on a bunk bed above our bed). Bathroom and shower were good. Breakfast was pretty basic, but certainly worth its cheap price. Although the location was quite far from main attractions of Paris, I would still recommend this hotel, because both the train station (Pantin) and underground (Hoche) were within a short walking distance. Also at the same area there were some nice restaurants along the small channel and of course a good bakery. So the travelling time to city center was no problem at all. And if you are planning to go to Eurodisney, the location is even better.

The location is near the RER B and it is around 10 minutes walk to the metro, which make it fairly well connected but you will spend some time in the metro to get to downtown, and you will get a good value for your money, the staff are super helpful and all the people at the reception are so nice, which I liked, hairdryer was available upon request from the reception, and hot drinks are available for buying from the reception as well, they also had microwave available, and a machine at the reception to order food to your room, I also ordered things from amazon and the reception was nice to keep them for me.
